The Full-Service-Package
of All-in-One Swiss Relocation Services
entails the following services:
Awareness tour
The client is picked up from the airport, hotel or office by one
of our multilingual relocation consultants in our company limousine.
The tour takes approximately
2 to 3 hours. During the tour the client receives our information
package with facts and figures about Zurich and the best-selling
book Living and working in Switzerland. Information
about the town, its different districts, lake communities and tax-rates
are explained. Once the client gets a first impression of where
he might want to live, our consultant looks into the real estate
market, and filters out suitable offers. Appointments are then made
for viewing the appropriate apartments or houses.
Like every country, Switzerland has its own set of customs, etiquette,
rules and regulations. We make our clients familiar with everyday
life in Switzerland, and give useful tips as to what the current
cultural scene has to offer.
House hunting
The search for a new home begins 1-2 months prior to the clients
actual move to Switzerland. After setting a date which suits the
client best for house hunting, the assigned relocation consultant
arranges and coordinates appointments with owners and housing-management
companies.
Our relocation consultant accompanies the client while viewing
the properties, providing assistance as an interpreter and conveying
essential information. Since we know from experience which situations
may arise in a foreign country, we help avoid unpleasant situations
in a diplomatic and creative way.
The client is shown up to 10 properties within approximately 3-4
days (depending on the housing-market), carefully selected according
to his criteria. The client then takes his pick from the ten objects.
He should decide on three rentals that most appeal to him, so
we can process the applications for the chosen rentals right away.
Since the market for apartments and houses in and around Zurich
has become very tight and apartments usually go very fast, quick
decision-making is called for to enhance the chances of getting
the apartment or house that suits the client best. Due to our
experience on the Swiss relocation market we have best relationships
to different housing management companies. We negotiate with the
property owner or the housing management company, check the contract
and take the necessary steps to ensure a smooth transfer.
Hand-over
The assigned relocation consultant is present at the hand-over
and checks the protocol to avoid any potential unpleasantness
when the tenant moves out again. (In case our client moves out
earlier, we are also happy to be of assistance in finding another
tenant). Waste disposal regulations, Waschküchenordnung,
public transport facilities etc. are explained in detail.
Furthermore, the new client is provided with the Swiss-food-box,
so he is not exposed to the stressful situation of shopping upon
arrival in Switzerland.
Residential registration
Each new resident must sign up in his new community this
also is included in the Full-Service-Package, just as is opening
a Bank account.
Bank account
We accompany our client to the bank.
Public Utility Sevices
Telephone/internet/electricity/radio/TV we take care of
registration, so that everything is in working order as soon as
the client moves in.
